St. Andrews and the East Neuk

Take a drive along the coast to St. Andrews, the home of golf, and discover the picturesque fishing villages of Earlsferry, Elie, St Monans, Pittenweem and Crail. Hop on the ferry in Anstruther and visit the Isle of May, see the oldest lighthouse in Scotland as well as incredible wildlife including: Puffins, Guillemot, Razorbill, Cormorant, Shag, and Eiderduck.

 

Edinburgh

Cross the amazing Forth Bridges to the City of Edinburgh, home to the Scottish Parliament, with it's famous castle perched on an extinct volcano and a whole host of tourist attractions, shops, restaurants and bars. Spend a day at the zoo; the largest wildlife attraction in Scotland with over 1000 animals. Take the ferry from South Queensferry to Inchcolm Island or go for a cruise on the Firth of Forth.

 

The Fife Coastal Path

The Fife Coastal Path stretches for 150 km from North Queensferry in the south to the Tay Bridge in the north. Each corner holds another secret for you to discover, historic castles and caves, quaint fishing villages and award winning beaches. With rugged cliffs, long sandy beaches, internationally important estuaries and wildlife reserves, walking the Fife Coastal Path is an experience not to be missed!

Knockhill Racing Circuit - Scotland's National Motorsport Centre

Less than 5 minutes drive away, Knockhill hosts the top events in the UK; British Touring Cars, British Superbikes and The Scottish Motorshow. As well as amazing racing action, Knockhill operates Driving Experiences, Karting and Trackdays (go on, drive a racing car!).

 

Fife Leisure Park

​The leisure park at Dunfermline has a variety of restaurants, from Indian to McDonalds and a whole host of things to do; Bannatynes gym and spa, American Golf, Ten Pin Bowling, Bingo, Odeon Cinema, Soft Play Area and Garden Centre.

 

Craigluscar Activities

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Craigluscar Hill and its community woodland, there is something for everyone here, including quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. Or how about piloting a hovercraft,  or driving a tractor  or Hagglund BV206 (Snowcat) ? (looks like a tank to me!!)

Lochore Meadows

The loch has canoeing, kayaking, sailing and fishing. There are walks to enjoy, woods to explore, a childrens play area and a cafe. 

 

Fishing

Our ponds are well stocked with rainbow trout, and fly fishing is available to our guests at no charge, on a 'catch and release' basis. Bank and Boat fishing are also available at Loch Glow and Loch Ore.

 

Golf

There are many local courses extending a warm welcome to visitors, and of course, an hour's drive away is St Andrew's, The Home of Golf. The Old Course, New Course, Jubilee Course, Eden Course, Strathtyrum Course, Balgove Course, The Castle Course (the seven St Andrews Links courses) are open to the public and everyone can follow in the footsteps of the legends of the game, from Old Tom Morris to Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.
